Fremont County is ready to welcome new businesses and has policies in place to get your enterprise up and running quickly.
Fremont Economic Development Corporation is a professional economic development organization focused directly on business attraction, retention and expansion. With an established and growing network of business, academic and governmental partners, we directly assist companies with competitive location or expansion projects by connecting them with the right people, the appropriate resources and the most meaningful and relevant information. Ultimately, our goal is to strengthen employment, build on a strong base of high-value industries, and significantly improve the economic future for all who live and work in Fremont County. The future is too important to be left to chance, and FEDC members are intent on creating a strong economic destiny.
Controlled growth through new business acquisition is the goal of every local government entity in the county.
The year 2013 marked the 30th anniversary for FEDC, which was established in 1983 as a non-profit 501(c) (6) corporation. The organization is supported and led by the county’s most influential business, governmental and academic leaders. In addition to these important economic development partners, we pool valuable resources from outside of our organization locally and nationally to ensure Fremont County secures a competitive and sustainable economy.
